Repetitive Nature is dedicated to the fragile resilience found in nature’s spaces, cycles and rhythms observing variation in time at a specific location using a multi-exposure technique. The project is created using a monochromatic digital sensor, filming through specific limited wavelength filters to capture three distinct chapters of time — red, green, and blue. In order to create a full color image with the monochrome sensor, these images are combined in post representing the red, green, and blue video channels. Through chromatic separations, wind, light, and movement all create a new liminal space of interrupted harmony.
In this variation, water - the basis for all life, a resource that holds historical and modern contention - flows freely outside of time to create a space of reflection.
